Another 4ft tall striker who is nowhere near as good as our two other 4ft tall strikers. Not sure that would be too helpful.
I didn't say it would be helpful, I said it wouldn't be any worse

But presumably a coach like Poch has see enough about him to pick him for the USA national team. I think he has struggled to settle and the social media stuff hasn't helped but it's a bit early to write him off completely imo.
He has made 6 appearances for the US.Poch doesn't pick him for the national team. I don't think Poch has ever actually ever picked him in a starting eleven. Yes he has made the US squad, presumably because Poch wants to get a look at him. But he clearly hasn't impressed that much, if he never makes the starting line up.
Imagine moving to a new country, having a couple of appearances, going on social media to find out the local fans want you to **** off and never play again. What a confidence boost!

Coventry are the outlier by a mile. Settled squad, settled (good).
In all competitions I think Still is 4 wins, 5 draws and 3 defeats. Not too bad.this reply on a thread asking for our manager to be sacked after a handful of results…..
Broken record time; I'd rather we have given Ballard a proper chance than spend £7m on a Downs. Literally would not have done any worse.
I never actually watched Ballard, so I don't know. But yeah, his numbers definitely looked good.
It just strikes me as so strange that we lose talented youngsters like Ali Gomes, Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Kamari Doyle, because we aren't willing to offer them a higher salary or a place on the bench, and yet then we go and throw money on players like Mara and Downes, and throw them straight into the first team. We could save so much money, and make so much money, if we just invested the money from half of these dud transfers, on the talented young players in our academy.

Bamford also available I think? We do have one space available in our squad, so we could in theory recruit a free transfer to fill it.
If he was fit and ready, I would be on the phone to Antonio's agent. But he must surely be the total opposite of that. He's presumably barely kicked a ball since his road accident, and I don't even know if he's capable of resuming his career at any level of professional football.

I don’t think it’s spiteful to say a player won’t amount to anything. He’s paid more in a week than many earn in a year. Being a professional footballer comes with privilege but also public scrutiny.Maybe my words were spiteful at the time - because I wanted three points today or at least a good performance - but I totally stand by it, 100%. I just can't see him ever making it. I have nothing against him, no reason at all to wish him bad. I'm not some mong on social media sending him abuse. If he proves me wrong then I will love it (in a Saints shirt anyway).
But we have released academy players who showed far, far more potential than Downs has. And if they aren't/weren't going to make it, then I can't see him doing so either.
Wrong threadYes as opposed to here where I was banned from the politics thread for pointing out that Islamic extremism id a growing issue.
and lo and behold, not even 6 months later an Islamist extremist called Jihad, who was on bail for rape, murders innocent worshippers.
It’s honestly painful being correct all the time and constantly being insulted and having to listen to people like loadings narcissism.
Luckily I’ll only post about football now though as I’m still banned

And we all have a right to our opinion. But stating any young footballer will never amount to anything is pretty low.

AwwwPipe down. I posted about football and they took cheap digs at me
