So should we get more tickets than Arsenal, or any other finalist, because it is a big occasion for us.
It happens every other year. It isn't something unique for our final. At the old Wembley you only got 23,000 each even when the capacity was 100,000.
Fans were getting arrested left, right and centre prior to kick off. Those that were at Peterborough services may have seen some causing trouble... well they were soon arrested after spending a good 20 mins around wembley
Some pass holders had valid reasons for not making the semi-final. Final tickets should go to pass holders (You know, Those of us who commit to going to every home game at least) as a priority, which I am sure they will.
I doubt there were enough arrests to justify how many empty seats there were, there were bloody loads, else it'd be all over the news that Sheffield united fans ran riot and clocked up hundreds of arrests.
Well, Arsenal had the west end for their semi, and we had the east. It only makes sense to keep them the same.
Like everyone else I imagine, I'll be trying for tickets, but with no guarantees, and because it affects my dad, does anyone know who will be televising the game live?
Yeah but...wife wants a ticket now, so I I'll be able to get one, but wont be able to for her unless I'm really lucky. Actually, although I'll try, something feels wrong about it for me because...long time fans...more deserving...even though there'll be people there who aren't when someone gives them their season ticket one for whatever reason. Just feels odd to me. Like I say, doubt I'll be able to get 2 anyhow, so its all moot. She isn't going to stop me going but she's suddenly developed a disturbing appreciation of the beautiful game and interest in the Mighty Tigers. I say disturbing because next season could see me forking out double for everything. She's likely to be with my dad watching it, and I need to know if I have to bite the bullet and fork out for sodding BT Sports for them.
I have BT for my internet so BT Sports comes free. I have the full package for Sky but never watch films and rarely watch live football. It takes me all my time to watch MOTD. I haven't watched Arsenal v Hull City for this season on Sky yet. I missed the second goal because I was still queuing for food! I better watch that match before the final - maybe even before next weekends game!
Yeah I have full Sky Package, including internet, so for me it would cost. We do watch a lot of movies, and also use their box set catch up thingy a fair bit too. I must admit I don't tend to record games I'm going to either. Just watch next weekends game, hopefully we'll scare the crap out of them for the final! That or lull them into a false sense of security lol.
It doesn't work like that, Macca. Don't know why you think it makes sense to keep them that way. Surprised how many people don't seem to know how these things are decided.
