Its a biggun!

Our favourite (???) former Egyptian has signed for Barnsley.

We still haven't signed anyone, and we don't have a manager either.

Bulletin over.

They are to build a pyramid in Barnsley to install him in with his fabulous collection of gold medals. This will be known as the Barnsley Tut!

Michael Parkinson will be pleased.

I'm really sorry guys. I'm so bored at work today. I was hoping the manager might get announced to help me out.

Friday tomorrow <diva>

How will it go? 'on Ilkley Moor Bar(nsley) Tut' ?

....... <sorry>

oh its Mido!

i liked him too actually.

he was **** though.

That was why i put the ???. Wasn't sure he was our fave.
Mido had 1 pretty good season for us on loan if i remember. Then he signed, came back from summer a chubber and went down hill
I remember him having something, not sure if it was in his contract, that said he had to be a certain weight or lower. He wasn't gonna make it by the deadline so removed all his dreadlocks to scrape under. Not sure how true it was but made me laugh.

apparenty mido left zamalek because he went to the chairman to ask for his overdue wages and the chairman said "you don't deserve them, you contribute nothing to this club".

so, they fell out.

The main two memories I have of him was getting (wrongly) sent off against Chelsea for jumping "over zealously" or some bollocks, and wrestling with Davids for the ball to take a penalty against Portsmouth which he won resulting in Davids throwing his glasses on the ground and walking away.

Mido did well for us in his first season and then lost his place in the team when he signed permanently, due to Berbatov's arrival.
Scored a decent winner against West Ham.

Nicely done.

I'm still thankful we didn't sign Amr Zaki based on him having a good half season with Wigan - before turning into a world class bell end who forgot how to score a goal on the few occasions he deigned to turn up in the second half of that season...
