Things have gone a a bit quiet on that front recently, i'm still hopeful that he might have a change of heart.

 

I'd like to keep him too, He has been excellent of late for Hughes and the only real attacking outlet to offer something.

you know, I'm not remotely pleased to hear that Les has little to do with anything. He is the DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL. If he's not doing much, does anyone know who is actually in charge of football at saints? Moving him on is one thing, keeping him around while Ralph K runs the ship behind the scenes is more worrying than actually hacing Les at the wheel.

More importantly, welcome Stuart! Hope he and Prowsy can find space to play together as I worry that JWP will be pushed out in favour of Stuart and I am a fan of JWP.

Goalie, tadic, boufal Long/Carillo please. Ideally Long and Carillo and we keep Tads.

 

This I could deal with. I would actually like to see 1/2 CBs brought in and move JS up into Romeu's position. Seems a great lad does Romeu but he doesnt have enough for me. One good season doth not a certain starter make.

 

Lose? At the moment I'd call it getting rid, sounds more positive.

 

Wouldn’t consider Long a first teamer, really. Don’t think he starts if everyone is fit.

I was alluding to Cedric on top of the three you suggested.

 

Like I said a few days back. We are rebuilding, I could see 8 players go in total

 

FF, Romeu, Davis, Carillo, Long, Boufal, Redmond That's 7 I wouldn't freak out over losing. Be very sorry to see Bertrand, Cedric or Tadic leave but could see that happening. Pied and Gardos already gone. Targett, Reed and Gallagher are at make or break. 8 doesnt seem too OTT. Personally, I would like to see the academy kids given a push and a chance this season.
