They'll blow a stack when we can only effectively attack down one side, play predictable football that's easy to contain as a result and don't get out of the relegation zone all season. I jest, but signings aren't just for the sake of it right? Up front we have sold our best creator and our record signing LOL! Guffaw! We will struggle without replacing (one of) them. I'm in favour of giving time to the academy lads but they need to be eased in and I'll be shaking my head at the end of the window if we haven't got at least one more experienced attacking player in.

Yep me too - had all the ingredients for a meltdown - World Cup, players leaving etc. But no, all going to plan
I suppose after last season it was always unlikely we would have a proper meltdown as nobody was massively bothered about losing any of our players. Tadic leaving caused a small meltdown, but I can't think of anything else happening that would trigger one.
The great thing about such an awful season is that the only way is up (yes, it is). I know we were better than we looked, so a bit of housekeeping and a manager who gives us hope has cheered me up. Mark is no Pochettino….but I'm expecting a decent and entertaining season. And (although we haven't seen them play yet) I'm quite impressed with the players we have brought in....no sign our owner is stripping us naked as some on Saintsweb seemed to expect.
Cedric must stay! I am so looking forward to him walking out next to Jannik & looking like a match day mascot!
