Agreed, probably cost more to replace the tea lady than get him in, so a good deal.

Good to get some home grown players in, to maintain the balance.

BFB, I'm sure you meant £750k, but for the sake of a cheap attempt at humour, we should top up the offer to £1000, just to include the train fare...

Now you are here you have my full support. Hopefully you’ve improved since I last watched you.

Hopefully he starts on Sat so we can see what he can do.

He played for Luton in the 3rd round so he won't be playing.

Is there a similar 'cup tied' ruling for The Carabao Cup? In other words ,could we see Bree on Tuesdee? (sorry, but it rhymed)

Good signing, very low risk, strengthens the squad, NJ knows him well. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Welcome to the best club in the world James!

I'm not judging him until I see him play in a Saints shirt, he could well turn out to be the bargain of the century!

Maybe this is just a very short term signing as RB cover until Tino is back, not to mention we don't know if Tino will come back the same player having been out for so long. I do think it's quite likely that it's with at least one eye on the expected departure of KWP in the summer though which is sad because he's easily one of our best players. Not that I begrudge him moving on, we are **** and he is great and has given us a good few seasons. Very low risk signing and seems to be the perfect capture for multiple scenarios.

Does make me question what the point in keeping AMN is now though. I guess still as cover in midfield but he seems pretty far down that pecking order now too.

He'll have to go some to beat Mac Allister or Caciedo (or Lavia, in fairness).

    Rasmus went to Luton
    To buy a Ford Capri
    He couldn’t quite afford it
So instead he got James Bree :emoticon-0159-music

I did see a few people mentioned his set piece ability as why he has created so many chances. Wouldn’t be against someone else taking corners instead of JWP
