That is by far most mad signing. Never thought it would happen and to happen in a Hagrid costume is just excellent!
Early on I thought there was a very very small outside chance of us getting him on loan for the season, but we’d be right near the bottom of the list. To buy him, and for the price we have…is mad!
I really think that this is the most important signing for many a year and the one that pulls everything together. The keeper is the base of the spine of the team and can give confidence to the whole XI. AR could really become the modern Peter Shilton and I can't wait to see him between the sticks.
Not every day Saints sign one of the best keepers in the world. That sounds a bit over the top, but have a think about it and he probably is. Premier league TOTY a couple of seasons ago in a title chalenging side, he probably is one of the top 20-30 in the world. Hope he helps lift the defence as a whole.

I think he's going to threaten (and most likely overtake) Niemi for being my favourite Saints keeper ever. There were plenty of jokes going around of him signing for Saints after he was spotted at the Play Off Final. I never, ever imagined this would happen. Still stunned TBH.
More interesting to see a comparison to Bazunu and McCarthy. I am sure an Alfie House tweet had one when the Bijlow deal was close as I think he shared something with all 4 keepers on.
