The fan zone outside the Northam sounds like it will be good. And no more ****ing Kingfisher! Sapporo is much better.
The good news: They are adding Guinness The bad news: I don't have any faith in anyone at St. Mary's to pour Guinness properly
Hmmm. Just had an email telling me my Forest ticket is ready to download on the app. I really hope this is the club being too lazy to target their communications to relevant people. And not that my plastic card won't work cos they think I'm a digital ticket holder. Think I'll turn up early just in case.
Meh. Not interested in any of that. I will rock up at 2:30, with my paper ticket in my hand, get in with (hopefully) no issues whilst witnessing all the chaos of people struggling with the digital ticket and not spend a penny at the stadium, but instead in the city. Happy days.
I will. And do you know what if I don't have Dragan phoning me personally after the game to discuss, then I'll be severely disappointed.
9pm seems rather optimistic to me as a closing time. Not arsed by any of this in the slightest but then I'm not the target audience. As mentioned the other day I'd rather support local businesses.
Not entirely sure why the club are saying no access to Melbourne Street for home fans,; just walked through as normal no problems. All the burger vans still here as normal.
I walked round towards the Kingsland. Practically open access to all round the ground as I could've gone right towards the Chapel as well.
Pretty sure some of the communications said they were 'encouraging' people not to rather than explicitly saying they couldn't. I do think it might change for certain fixtures though.
Really liked the murals on the walls in the Northam concourse. A real nice touch imo. Shameful that Nigel isn't on there though.
One negative of safe standing I hadn't considered; Can't climb over the seats as easily to get out quicker
Noticed a few people (maybe 30-50) stood in the top corner of the chapel near the away fans tonight. Can see a few relocating there next season.
