Having finally caught up with all the action after being away for a few days, I am amazed that the general attitude towards our former manager has gone from there's only one Pochettino to don't let the door bang your arse on the way out in a space of around 24 hours. I think that's truly commendable.
I read this yesterday. I'm not posting a damn thing till the start of the season. WTF is going on at the moment?
Apart from Harry Redcrap, our fans would not boo a returning ex manager as they generally have been sacked or were just crap, it kinda saddens me that when MP returns with his Spurs side he will recieve alot of booing and abuse. Fans will forget that he gave us our best ever finish and stepped up our performances. In light of all the talk of our players being sold off did he have any other option but to leave?
Er....It was our best ever finish last week, but i'm afraid to suit our new argument we've opened up the old testament of football history (pre premier league) and this wondrous 8th place is just a meh
maybe he could have rebuild the squad in his own image. then again, has he ever shown that capability? most managers see their best success by tweaking what is already there.
I have never booed ex managers or players.........What is puzzling me though is why the media and larger clubs seem to think they can do what they like as far as upsetting the players and management are concerned? Why is it that people tend to use us as a stepping stone all the time? I did not think Pochettino would do that to us...but I guess his Nemesis was Cortese. For once, though probably the first time in my years supporting Saints.....no matter what good he has done for Saints in the past....I do not wish him well for the future.....as all the good he has done is likely to be undone just as quickly. Perhaps I am getting to be a bitter old man!!
MP stands on the touchline looking dazed and confused as Saints take his sorry Spurs to pieces. The camera cuts to a scowling Levy sat in the stands sharpening his axe. The chant from the visiting Saints fans grows in volume and intensity; "sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the morning"
