I'm ok with that (if that is the case) if we get a fully committed Downes to spearhead our bid for an instant return to the PL. A little positive PR does no harm and Juric will be long gone.
Yeah it doesn’t feel remotely likely that that is how it played out but ultimately who cares. Downes is here and if Juric was the root/sole cause of his unrest then hopefully you’re right and Downes settles down and focuses on next season.
