Agreed. But we’re not going to be a whole lot better, because the players have given up, so we’d end up thinking Rusk is **** too (as we did with Selles in the same situation) and he doesn’t deserve that (like Selles didn’t).
Maybe, but i'd just like to see sensible team selections and tactics and see where it takes us, we are never getting that from Juric. Maybe, just maybe we can restore a tiny bit of pride before this season horribilis has breathed its last.
Yeah I get that. But two games is such a small sample size, and he might start making seemingly mental decisions when some of our players start acting up etc.
I said it before. It would be ****ing hilarious if we did that. But then turn up for the Leicester game.
I think we would get more points with Rusk. That said, I agree that we would be crap either way. Ultimately there is nothing we can do to save this season. The board knew that in January which is why we spent nothing. We'll just have to wait and hope SR finally make a good managerial call in the summer. I feel most for the season tickets holders who essentially only got half a season of competitive football with something to play for.
Sorry. No way is any pride regained this season. It will just be a horrible grind to the end, and yes we may lose by ten, we are that bad
It is crazy that we've managed to find someone worse than Jones. And so soon afterwards too! I don't watch Italian football, so I find it very hard to understand how he had any "success" there. I said when we appointed him that it smelt like the sort of appointment Watford would make. I stand by that. When a general football fan undertakes one of those "name as many PL managers" type quizzes in a few years time, Juric will be one of those who everyone forgets.
Which is why the club need to do something. I have no problem with the club not throwing money down the drain in January - that was sensible. But they need to acknowledge that ST holders paid for a season of football, not four months.
Fair play to you, NZ. You were the only one saying we would come to regret sacking Russ. Somehow - some bloody how - you were bang on.
I reckon the damage Juric is doing to team morale and confidence is far more damaging than some people realise.
I find it difficult to believe that you can break something that was already broken. I am not excusing him. But let's be honest morale and confidence we're already shot, let's not rewrite the narrative. Remember Spurs at home!
I agree. It’s not great to have to sack a 2nd manager in a season, but this is beyond a joke. It’s worse than NJ, and the damage this is doing could see us do a Luton. SR are joke of owners who should now be held accountable as this is now 2 premier league seasons of being completely incompetent.
Yeah I agree. But since that game we have shown signs of being competitive. Utd away and West Ham home were decent enough performances. So the players have it in them. But if half your best players are on the bench, and the other half are played out of position, then I can't blame the players for not wanting to run around like headless chickens for 90 mins.
