Confirmed: Danny Ings joins Saints

I wonder how the compulsory purchase is written. If he is injured and only plays 5 games do we still have to spend 16m? I hope we wrote it well or that could be another Carillo sized money hole for next summer’s budget.

If Klopp did really say all that and it isn't PR crap, he really has gone up in my estimation.

I haven't got any issues with Klopp. I really like him as a manager and as a bloke.

 

Klopp also saying Ings is fitter then at any point in his career!

 

Good morning world, thats' unexpected!! Good stuff! Well done the Club, the window couldn't have gone much better in terms of players in and positions. Really hope Danny delivers for us and his injury woes are behind him. Was very disappointed when he went to Liverpool in the first place. Now that he's realised the error of his ways he'll have some proper fans cheering him just for hitting the target! doesn't have to go in, hitting the target will be an achievement here!

 

I imagine the £16m will just be deducted from some clauses/installments Liverpool probably owe us on Mane/VVD.

Feels slightly panicky but I don't hate the signing, keep him fit and he should do well for us. Have to say there is a question mark over his fitness though.

He agreed to let Danny go because he was desperate to be playing again and he wanted to be with us.

Klopp was planning on keeping Ings around the squad up there at the back end of the season. LFC also didn’t go into the market for a striker.
