Imagine, the big battle of top dog band in the 60's was between The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. In the 80's it was Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.

Why do I feel like crying?

Huth, is there something you want to share with us?

I'm surprised you didn't throw in Bronski Beat for the full house.

I love 70's Bowie as much as the next man but after that there is no excuse.
As for Laughing Gnome, I'd rather listen to that than Tin Machine.

Actually after the turgid 80's Bowie did manage to write some decent stuff. 2001's Heathen especially is a very good album.

Not vintage Bowie but bloody good nonetheless.

Ps Bowie is utter, utter ****ing tripe, like everything else from the 70's BBC revolution.

70's Is the worst music EVER

I like Pet Shop Boys, Bronskie Beat and Frankie Goes To Hollywood's first album is fantastic although it should probably be credited to The Art Of Noise.

Huth, the 70's was the best decade for music, bar none.
It pisses on the 60's and all other decades.

What difference does it make what age a person is?

By your logic you and your wife must spend the evening listening to Alma Cogan and Bobby Darin.

    Age makes no difference.
I love Hank Williams, it doesn't mean I was around in the 40's and 50's.
I was born in the late 60's but still love and appreciate the greats like Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee, Little Richard, Nat Cole, etc.
If you only listen to music of your own era then you limit yourself and lose your right to have an opinion on music.

And there's nothing wrong with Bobby Darin.
