Comrade Comm

I think you will all agree this thread has run long enough, I thank you all for your tolerance and patience , I realise I am not going to get the truth, my view is of Comm running away and all I can see in the distance is the big yellow streak down his back
I at least am left with the knowledge that every day he regrets the day he decided to attack a vulnerable eighty year old he saw on the forum, though I have seen him do the same kind of thing numerous times since
He exposed his weakness to me when he boasted that he could take it as well as dish it out, but over the years when he repeated it so often I realised he was trying to convince someone, and I knew who that someone was
Since moving to Australia I have enjoyed quite a bit of success to the stage where I do not have to worry about money, I have always maintained that this is down to my genes from generations of Sunderland ancestors plus my upbringing in the same place, Yes it may sound a bit corny but the facts bear this out, you do not get to be the biggest shipbuilding town in the WORLD for almost 500 years by being ordinary
I was at the begining of the year asked to go sailing with five very good friends, I knocked it back at the time but today I intend to let them know I will be going, leaving early June

Before I go I would like to introduce you to a new subject FOOTBALL for some reason apart from the early days the football gods have not smiled on us, having said that in those early days it was a more level playing field , If ( when ) they go down it may not be such a bad thing if they do not pop straight back up, just maybe a different albeit long term approach is needed , from what I have been able to see of Newcastle they are going up with a worse team than they went down with, I was privileged to have watched the great Charlie Hurley play and however good you hear he was he was even better, There was a Time when a Swedish centre forward played against England and walked all over them , a few weeks later he came up against Hurley and did not get a kick, also Shack the entertainer when he was not playing it was not announced untill just before kick off such was his affect on the gate

Been good meeting you all

P.S I think you ARE BEING very tolerant with David Moyes, looking forward to the day when I know he has been sacked and I can say HAVE BEEN very tolerant !!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't disagree with anything underlined there. I'm not sure Sunderland will come straight back up but it's not the end of the world being in the Championship to be honest, there's some good teams (not good players I hasten to add) down there. Newcastle are worse than we were last year, not by a huge margin but worse all the same, and we will go straight back down unless there's some major changes.

"maybe a different albeit long term approach is needed" - correct. Sunderland are not alone in that though.
