Yeah, think Leeds would be a good move for Nigel as long as their rocky spell in terms of ownership is going to settle down now.

I'd probably keep a keen eye on Leeds (I have nothing against them). I just dislike Warnock so Warnock replaced for Adkins suits me!

Good for Leeds, not great for Nigel. Bide your time, something better will come along.
(Moyes to Arsenal in the summer, now that would open a door he'd surely consider.)

I don't think Everton or any premier league team would go for him to be honest. I know we all think highly of him but let's be realistic, he'd be looking at a championship team.

Have to agree here, he'd not even get in the final running order for the Everton job. Or any other Prem job.

It's building sides that play attractive football and get results/promotions that he is known for really.

I think you're absolutely right, PSF. Whilst I loved Nigel for his honesty and sheer bloody positivity - crikey, if the world was populated by his attitude it would be a far better place for everyone - Cortese felt that Nigel's present limit had been reached. I was shocked at his dismissal, but I certainly didn't go into emotional meltdown, and was actually excited by what was coming almost immediately afterwards. Nigel will grow and learn with a new club, and one day may become a great manager of a PL side. I'm not sure of it, but I hope so very much, because he deserves it. If it has to be Leeds, then so be it, because I wouldn't begrudge him the success.

Just don't do it at the expense of Saints, eh Nige..?

I'm sure that's it. Nigel is an honourable man and even if interviewed would give little away. If Leeds are sniffing around he'll want it all done above board.
