Is this really the Japanese? Or is it the Spanish basketball team in disguise who are still no doubt better footballers than Team GB:
On the basis of this statement it is a pity that Pearce and Team GB didn't step in and put this witch hunt to bed before it started!!!
We might get a retraction from Blatter - but not the journalists who ran with the story of Bale skiving the Olympics.
Blatter, splatter, shatter, clatter, let the press natter. Let them all be ignored, they deserve nothing less. Do we care about their opinions.......................not at all. Now go away! Expletives are an optional extra, but I didn't want to waste them.
He didn't score in a friendly, so nobody paid attention - not even to the fact he played 90 minutes against Stevenage last week.
Just listened to the 'debate' between Mssrs Lineker, Hanson and Savage discussing the Bale issue. Despite the club statement, they still question the validity of the injury/recovery!! Now I don't give a **** about the ****ers Savage and Hanson, but it really pisses me off that one of our own sees fit to propagate the rumours. Maybe it's about time someone told the true story of his last few years....... Not a good idea to throw stones when standing in a greenhouse!!!
MRI scans. Consultation with Team GB. End of story. Blatter is a twat and our FA are spineless arseholes. Move on, people! There is nothing to see, here.
He didn't get selected and then withdraw? As it stands, he was not picked by Pearce so no withdrawl is necessary. If I rememeber correctly, Bale was picked and then withdrew with injury?
Bale was only picked in the initial 35 to be on standby but got injured and was ruled out by Spurs and GB doctors before the final squad was picked.
