have to say, it appears only the daily mail believe he was offered a deal with fulham. certainly i'd heard he wasn't offered a deal at the time but its a case of believe what you want to believe. agree also that holt will be off in the coming weeks
I think its safe to say this is my least favourite part of the year. Even with the Euro's on this summer I just want to know about NCFC. I am not sure I can wait another 8 weeks or whatever it is for the season to start..... maybe only a couple of weeks to wait for transfers though......
I don't see NCFC's lack of spending as an issue. We have a decent young squad who will be better for having a season in the PL under their belts. Like every club we could imporve and need to strengthen in a couple of areas (RB/CB and CF if Holty leaves) but we already have the players in place to do the job so any additions will be the cream on top. I would not want wholescale changes as it can disrupt a winning and united dressing room. It is all well and good bringing in a load of new players but there is no guarantee that they will be able to play together. Hopefully we can get off to a decent start while a lot of clubs are trying to find their best 11 and have a nice cushion before they all reach their full potential.
well if Holt is leaving, fingers massively crossed that it gets sorted out in the time period suggested - the last thing we want is it dragging on until transfer deadline day
