we can hardly complain if we've been screwed over. we did it too! it'll be a major disappointment, just as it was to the colchester fans but as i keep saying, football is cut throat and any little sneaky thing clubs can do will be done to cut corners and avoid paying money. if we've made a mistake (which actually i doubt on this occasion) then tough - if villa are cheating us then it'll go to court and we'll get compensation, just like colchester did. and remember, at the time, although lambert had already done a great job for us and it appeared a bargain, had the compensation been £425k at the time we'd hired him, we'd all have said we'd been ripped off. i think we'll get compensated - might just take some time. i very much doubt we'll spend the next three years on the villa board annoying their fans because of it though...
