Not surprising that the guy who took the opposite view doesn't get to games regularly.

Wats made the point a couple of weeks ago that the guys who prefer the NPC to the PL are more likely the same chaps that go week in, week out. To them its all about the match-day experience. This would also tie in with that, in that creativity is part and parcel of the enjoyment of going to watch football. Folks living away from London or outside the Country entirely, generally care diddly squat about such things and only focus on the result and where we are in the table. Football people in other Countries have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about the Football League and care even less, so for Rangers fans in that environment, all they want is for their team to be in the Premiership so they can be part of the conversation when they take on United, 'Pool, Chelsea etc.

There's also perhaps a generational thing here too. The purists who grew up watching our great footballing sides of the 60's and 70's, naturally hanker back to that era and use it as a template with which to measure our current team and style of play.

Me? Give me Ollie's old up and under style any day if it means we get back into the only league recognized in this Country and I don't have to listen to another Man United clown in a pub, who upon hearing who I support, comes out with the usual "but they're not even in the league" line, as if once relegated, a Club ceases to exist.

He's already scored at Loftus Road via his ample posterior. Remember the season before last, well into injury time, the Villa were leading until Helgusson whipped in a ball that richochetted off Dunne's arse and into the net?

    A center-halves finish alright.
