Comparison of 17/18, 16/17 and 15/16

And another thing!

In 15/16 there were only two weeks (7 & 9) when the bottom team was not one of the relegated teams. On both occasions that was Sunderland.
In 16/17 there were only 4 weeks (12, 14, 19, & 21) when the bottom team was not one of the relegated teams. On every occasion that was Swansea.
In 17/18 it was not so clear cut but for every week the bottom team was not one of the relegated teams that team was Crystal Palace.

 

I see the bookies have us third favourites for relegation again at 2/1. Muff at 11/2, every season, yawn. Wolves 6/1! For some reason they really think they’re going to be OK. Not signed anyone yet!

 

Little did we know at the time, but we were safe on the 3rd March.

 

Probably expecting more big money signings using their agents contacts which is all fine and above board accredited to the media ..

Whereas we were a disgrace and bad for English football .

 

That’s two months of niggling doubt I could have done without!
