The same Watford game(s) when we failed to sell out the away leg with only 1200-1300 going out of the 2500 seats available and the home leg that was silent once Watford scored until Barmby bundled one in?

Not sure about that. I remember us being only slightly short of selling out the away end and we were in great voice for the full 90 minutes. In the home leg, City were not silent up until Barmby's goal, that's just simply not true. We were a lot louder after it, but we were far from silent prior to it.

Its not a knock, he's tired as are several of our players. We are lucky we are not as tired as Watford team of Udinese players are, never having sampled English football most or all of them

We might not have sold out at Watford, but it certainly wasn't half sold, there were only a smattering of empty seats.

Disagree - went that day and plenty of empty seats - reckon only 60% sold

The boys were uptight with nerves last night, tiredness from three games in six days & fatigue from nerves. I've mentioned it a few times before, in this team we have no calming old head to add guidance on the pitch. Its a very young team who can't handle big occasions. Give them a break, they will get experience in the Prem next season.
But we need to sign a real experienced pro to skipper the side.
Last nights reaction to our performance was just abject disappointment.

There's a few of us in our section that try to get stuff going or people joining in when we hear chants from elsewhere in the stand, got to say last night the normal non-singing people around us seemed more up for it than normal, either that or I was just louder than normal so more people heard it starting to join in and that meant they were surrounded by singers and felt less self conscious. (it can be embarrassing when you try and start something and there's only a few join in)

Two, actually make that three arseholes were sat behind me on Friday night. All they did was complain for 90 minutes straight, saying stuff like "This team don't deserve to be in the Premiership" and "This team are ****". **** off somewhere else, ****s.

I've done that for the past five years where i am sat, some right idiots on the back row of the West stand behind me, every single time they passed it sideways or backwards they moaned. The problem is if they watched Barcelona do that they would be creaming themselves, unfortunately they don't understand football.

I'm in E1 and I have the biggest ****er ever behind me. He winges when we keep the ball and if we knock the ball long we he winges. He contently has a go at the players for being lazy.

It was obviously worse than I noticed, but Watford's away end is only 2,200, do you really think there were only about 1,000 of us there?
