Busy weekend. 'Proms in the Park' for me and Jenks on Saturday afternoon, ensuring I wasn't exposed to the horror that was the WHam match
Thank **** it was sunny on Sunday afternoon for the 'family fun day'. otherwise the pub would have been utterly rammed with screaming brats. Partners were drawn for the 'pairs darts knockout competition'. Just have a guess who I drew and then I'll give you the run-down

Neither. The former hardly ever goes in there any more and she wasn't there. I got Denice, much to every ****er's mirth. I haven't played in almost 18 months since I went downstairs the hard way. I knew I'd lost an awful lot of upper body strength, but ****ing hell
My first 3 darts hit the rubber tyre outside the board. My fourth dart hit the wall. My fifth and sixth both bounced out. The abuse was ****ing monumental, and that was just from Denice We got knocked out 2 games to love. I didn't hit one correct number.

I can't think of anything else, though. I was actually pretty damned decent when I was playing every Sunday afternoon. You don't get that bad just without practice. A few months ago, I was out with my eldest walking her dog. As you know, I used to play cricket and I had a great throwing arm. I went to throw a tennis ball for the dog, and it went about 6 yards. I was ****ing stunned
