My brother used to switch between Liverpool and Everton in 80s, liked Man Utd in 90s before switching to Chelsea. He still claims to support Chelsea.

I actually support Liverpool because of him; copied my older sibling at the time. I just clicked on to the loyalty aspect of supporting a football team very quicky so never changed.

Come to think of it, my sister "supports" every team from the NW although Liverpool is her favourite... But she is happy enough if United or City win the title over a Southern team.

I say "support" though because she's a very casual fan and probably only watches a few games a year total.
 
My Mrs (nm) claimed to be a Arsenal fan when we first met, think she just fancied Henry. She actually hates football.

Women are sold **** on ads that are meant for them and they lap it up.

you don't see many men ads do you.

Gillette and **** i suppose.

If the average TV ad break was analysed i bet there's 70% for women min.
 
I've just had a candidate accept an offer as a Principal Bioinformatician. This is at the company where the guy who took me to the toilet is Chief Operating Officer. The candidate had to meet the founder and Chief Scientific Officer for a 'rubber stamp' yesterday. I asked my contact about how the candidate should approach the meeting and what the CSO was like. The final line was "He's a really nice guy, apart from the fact he's one of your lot, a bloody Liverpool supporter". The candidate is originally from Childwall and is a massive Red. I called him to tell him about the offer and asked him if the CSO had mentioned that he supported Liverpool. He said it was the very first thing he asked. "He heard my accent and asked if I was Red or Blue. I told him and he got his mobile out and showed me the screensaver, which was a gold Liverbird with 5 gold stars on a red background". That's exactly the same screensaver as me. I love it when a plan comes together <laugh> Scouse science mafia <ok>

Baccy Dave dropped me two packs off on Thursday evening. He told me he wouldn't be in until Sunday afternoon, so I said I'd sort him out with the cash then, as I didn't have the £30 on me and the cash point wasn't working.

I watched the match, then went to the Cheese. Dave wasn't there, as he usually comes in later for bingo when I've ****ed off. I got hold of Phill the DJ and asked him to give Dave the money when he came in, which he has done before. He said he'd be happy to and put the money into his *** packet. I said don't throw the ****ing thing away, to which he replied that he always put his cash in there. I texted Dave this morning to ask if he'd got his money from Phill. He hadn't, saying Phill was pissed. He phoned Phill who confirmed that he'd thrown the packet away <laugh> He'll be rooting in the bins at the Cheese as I type <yikes>

****ing cash machine at the garage opposite the Cheese swallowed my ****ing card last night. Into Warrington in the pissing rain this morning with my bastard passport.

In other news, a prospective client I've been in touch with for a long time called in with a vacancy yesterday. Senior virologist, salary 35 - 45k. He's a Scouse Red. He asked for fee and I said at that salary, standard was 20% but I could probably trim that. He said no that was fine as I was a Red. God's people

have you got that salary wrong... is that all a senior anything gets paid?? I presume a virologist tests samples for presence and types.of viruses
 
Going to need a new boiler in the near future. Anyone got any advice? Never bought one. Got a lot of commission coming, but I want to go to Mexico again, this time with my eldest. Interest free credit best option.
