oh jeez... you are a shoulder to f'n cry on... that is disappointing i must say. still...... i SUPPOSE you being all moral ad such is a good thing but not for the soap. ................ as for pellet guns... how old was kid... I don't agree with that crap one iota. One or ours is a mechanic (bmw) and he's got a shed literally out the back shed with this stuff.. hand guns, not too bad, but has a ak47 pallet gun that'd give a paint ball gun a run for it's money.
He son's in his 20s and has done some time. I don't know much about these BB guns. How dangerous are they? Denice said it hurt like hell
deffo eye burster. get one in the eye and its blown out. put it this way. some spring powered hand ones wouldn't hurt that much BUt if you've ever been paint balling you know that you can get a seriosu whack off one. that rifle size one i've seen (and used) coud kill small birds and squirrals at 50/100 yards. inaccurate as f though Don't like em round kids but in his 20s and shoots his ma... I'd say thats a hanging offense.
I got a privacy screen for "sensitive" data I am sitting with accountants so they can't really see unless right in line with me.
See, if she spelt her name with an "s" it would make he immediately more classy and things like that wouldn't happen to her. Could offer something else to cry on! Yeah... depends on the model- had a BB gun as a kid that was useless, wouldn't penetrate a paper bag. Never shot myself on purpose- but the balls did rebound off things and hit me a couple of times and didn't hurt. There are some pellet guns that use CO[SUB]2[/SUB] cartridges that give them extra power that are potentially lethal if you hit in the right spot.- and everything in between. Most are pretty wimpy though.
There are modern versions that don't even need to hit the right spot. They are ridiculously powerful and would easily kill someone without too much effort.
Everytime I get my gun out all I can think is, 'scouser with gun' call in the armed response unit and have visions of being seen as some form of Raoul Moat loon
I dunno I think basically these days you don't want to be waving a little pellet gun round cos the cops won't hesitate. most pistols have crap springs and they break and are cheap but that rifle one i had a coupel shots and it'd cut you no question. a paint ball has a bit of oomph behind it so the power of the co2 there is high and they got what 400mph? a pellet gun to my mind is more dangeorus in that the little thing can be easily replace with a ball bearing and that'll do damage. but anyway... ffs get a real gun!
I don't like 'em mate, I only have the air rifle for pest control, I wouldn't want a 12 bore in the house, albeit I do enjoy clay pigeon shooting every now and again, but I always borrow a gun.
Never been bothered about guns. I've used a few (as a kid) and I was a pretty good shot but never been interested in owning one or going hunting etc. Not my thing, I'd rather play some sort of sport. Obviously play football but used to play a lot of other stuff too such as tennis, golf, cricket, snooker, etc
Was anyone holding the guns when you shot them- or did you just place the guns on top of wooden posts and shoot at them? As a kid I enjoyed playing with my underpowered BB gun. Times have changed now- I wouldn't let my kids take a toy gun out of the house (unless obviously fake) - and I wouldn't want them shooting BBs in the house. My son will never get a BB gun therefore! Too many stories in the US of kids getting shot for playing with BB guns and people think they're real. (enough real guns around easy to see why people are jumpy). I've never wanted a real gun- and would refuse to have one in the house. All these people who claim they have a gun "for protection"- and yet statistics prove if you have a gun you're more likely to be shot by an intruder than if you don't. (robbers don't shoot unarmed homeowners) - then there are all the accidental home shootings which add to the odds of being shot if you have a gun. Statistics prove you're safer if you don't own a gun than if you do. Pretty idiotic to own a gun "for protection". For sport- just rent them. Probably cheaper for the average person to rent one at a shooting alley on occasion than own one anyway.
Had BB and pellet guns as a teen. Now I'm a bit older don't bother with em so much. Used to like lining pop cans up and doing target practice. Also went out in the back fields with mates shooting at each other in mock-wars... stupid really. Once went on a school holiday to Europe and there was a shop selling that sort of stuff in the town we was stayin in. Needless to say me and a group of lads were in there like a shot... bought high velocity catapults with tubs of BBs, throwing stars, flick knives, loads of stuff. **** hit the fan when we got found out what we'd been doing. A few had been firing wet bog roll and BBs out of hotel room windows at pedestrians down in the street and surrounding buildings. The ones who didn't get caught in the first sting ended up chucking all the good stuff in a river before they got to us
Seven (yes seven) assorted shoplifters passed through the Cheese yesterday evening. Someone she's barred is sure to grass her up sooner or later.
Who would run the cheese if she were in jail for a short spell? Steph? I assume reselling stolen goods results in more than just a fine (but nothing more than a few days wearing orange).
I doubt they need a reason these days. Wasn't some blind guy tasered into a heart attack because some jumpy copper thought his white stick was a samurai sword? I'm sure the police offer regular eye test to their officers it's just a shame they don't offer IQ tests at the same time. Talking about pigeons earlier, RHC, any chance of you becoming a stool pigeon?
