It's all sound. The only after-effect is my back aches after I've walked any distance, but that's due to weakened back muscles having been on crutches for nearly 3 years. I wouldn't be going to Mexico if they weren't 100% ;

 

I actually haven't tried to kneel yet. I asked the surgeon, as inability to kneel can be very limiting in certain situations. He said there's no medical reason why not, but about 50% of patients just don't like how it feels. I'll let you know as things progress with Rachel
