Absolutely Absolutely none of those please Eldest coming in tonight requiring money. About 8 months ago, she was driving on the main road near where she lives and a young Polish woman ran out from behind a bus. She was doing below 30 and slammed on, but the Pole still got bumped. My daughter pulled over and got out. The woman was OK and her friend had arrived on the scene, apologising for her mate being so stupid and running out. My daughter had dialed 999 and the coppers arrived. By now, the woman was up. The police took a statement from everyone, could see what had happened and that was that. They didn't even breathalyse my daughter. 3 months ago, she got a letter from London Victoria insurance saying the Pole had put a ****ing claim through a 'solicitor' in and whilst this was in process, she automatically lost her no-claims bonus. It's costing a ****ing fortune. She's even given a crime number to the insurance company together with a report saying she wasn't at fault and no charges were brought. They're STILL charging her through the ****ing nose and the Pole's solicitor now wants the details as well. In summary: Polish woman - a horrible stinking **** Solicitor - conniving, slimey vile twat Insurance company - immoral, unethical and corrupt, and making money off the interest from the extra money my daughter is being forced to pay them. I can't believe this practice is legal. They didn't even consult her. They just put the monthly payment up and take it from her back account. She can't cancel it as she needs her car for work and another insurance company won't touch her whilst there's a claim in place. ****ing disgusting
They can't surely remove her no claims bonus until the claim against her has been proven? As they're financially penalising her based on an accusation rather than either a conviction or a court judgement. Not sure whether that would stand up to any scrutiny tbh, she should seek advice from the insurance ombudsman

Can't believe in this day and age where all these dirty foreigners are involved in all sorts of scams ie crash for cash scams that she is technically being labelled as guilty until proven innocent by her insurance company. Echo tobes comment that that surely is illegal on her insurance companies part and get legal advice on that Bollocks asap.
After this bollocks has been cleared up in court she should sue the **** of a lawyer the dirty pol and her insurance company for stress and unnecessary agro and financial costs this has all cost her. Then with a bit of luck these dirty foreigners and **** lawyers will think twice about trying to scam hard working ****ING ENGLISH folk
I don't get how she's having to pay anything or have any financial implication thus far. Sounds like she's being shafted here over nothing FFS. If it was an uninsured driver with no licence they'd not be having to deal with this ****. The more someone has to lose the more they can get shafted.

What a bunch of total colluding ****s And yeh surely she won't lose the no claims until a claim is actually proven and gone through I imaging the legal side of this is gonna be an absolute **** storm now - when i got knocked off my bike it was ****ing terrible and ongoing and I was the claimant - that's what will be the most pain in the arse. However when - and I say when because there is no way she will get this through with the police involved and evidence you mention - it comes crashing down on this woman your daughter shouldn't be out of pocket as the stupid **** who's on the make will end up having to pay for all the fees when her case fails

Yeah I know got carried away lol. Apologies. But was a programme on TV a while ago about crash for cash scams and none of them was English. Yes some probably do it and we have our own criminal element to worry about but other countries deport these ****ers, we are too soft!!
