    As far as she's concerned, for good. She owes £2000 in gas, which she says is wrong, but it's getting cut off tomorrow. She also tole me she's "had enough". People, including me, offered to throw cash in to pay the bill, but she said she wouldn't take charity.

    It's unknown if the ****s who own the building will put locum management in or just flog it. It's all very sad and most definitely the end of an era. Not one proper alehouse in Latchford now.

    The only decent local near me closed a few years ago. The others are ****e so I just don't go any more.

    As to the Cheese - it may seem a bit obvious, but doesn't the free Sambuca and 10 free birthday pints policy impact on the profits a little? Not to mention the threepence a pint tariff.

    I'm surprised it's lasted this long, tbh - given that it seems less of a business and more of a community initiative designed to keep all the petty criminals, druggies and flashers off the streets.
