Weren't all those Beat generation dudes bumming each other as well like? Surprised that it's your bag tbh. Jack Kerouac maaannnn. Utter ****e.
I was at a pub quiz a few weeks ago, and the answer to one of the questions was Napoleon. There's a regular team comprising of four or five people in their early twenties, and when the quiz was over one of them sidled up to the quiz-master and asked him who Napoleon was. They weren't even educated enough to think he was a pig.
I agree, On The Road is just dull. I'm a big fan of the American Authors from that era Richard Brautigan, John Fante and even the modern day authors Bukowski, Cormack Mcarthy but Kerouac is overratted and just dull.
Assuming serious, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were the stars of the Twilight film, and became a real-life couple for a while. They became known as kstew and rpatz by people who like such abbreviations. Kristen Stewart subsequently had a prominent role in the recent film version of On the Road. I know you don't care, but I'm telling you anyway, alright?
I haven't watched it, but I've only heard bad things. Looks like I'm the only who liked the book then...
No. Now **** off. Reporter mate in the Cheese tonight. I'll see if there's anything else likely to be happening inbound and outbound and see what the BS are up to, just for Tobey
