Give TF as much time as they got and he'll dwarf their achievents. You're right about watching the "Four Year Plan" though, it shows all the mistakes they made before Amit Bhatia got the house in order.
Bhatia is the one most of us wanted in charge, even my mother said how much sense he talked when she watched the film and she knows less about football than swords!
We should all be sticking together. I understand that the players performances on the park encourage support from the stands but maybe we should collectively be doing a bit more for the team. I know I'll probably get hung drawn and quartered but isn't the old adage that the supporters can be the twelth man (or woman...don't want to upset Beth). With all that goes on with our club, what I don't understand is how we managed to get so much in debt. It can't all be on transfer fees and salaries and I just wonder whether the old formula one owners took a bit more out then they put in. I know that Remy and Samba cost a packet between them but we will get money back for Loic in the summer.....and Samab's transfer fee doesn't get included in the last set of figures. Maybe HR did have too much sorting out after the Hughes period? Finally, just want to add that in all the years I supported QPR the following words...."We don't do things easy" for some reason comes to mind......
Well I know for sure she wouldnt have picked redknapp, she also knee armstrong was higher than cheech and chong before a word wqas said in the media.
Nowt wrong with a bit of ganga..in certain American states apparently !! Not my thing thanks, but each to thier own
Really? - Do you actually remember the parlous state we were in when they took over? - I'll remind you - We were still the only team out of the 92 that after about 8/9 games had yet to win a game. - So basically heading back to League 1. before the end of the 4 years we were back in the Prem. Tony 2 and 3/4 seasons - Survived by skinn of teeth first season, dropped back to CCC like a rancid stone second season and overpaying mercenaries in 3rd season to reach play offs. All this whilst spending absolute fortunes that are clearly unsustainable as a Club. Hmm - What miracle is he going to pull off in the 1 1/4 years? I'm still hearing the same old we are making mistakes and learning bullcrap.
Heh, more like my fat fingers. I've seen plenty of fanbois do the same. please log in to view this image
Indeed. We may well go up this season but we're hardly set up like a Southampton to flourish in the Prem. We lack the players, the stadium, the manager and the board. Bhatia's input was vital to the club and its future. Without him we're just another advertisment for Air Asia in the style of Caterham F1.
When we go up, we will have to keep 75% of the squad to have a good chance of staying up. This is why I've hated nearly all of redknapps signings, only Austin, Simpson and Philips fall into that category.
Of his tweets I liked "I stand by my players, full stop, and my manager," Errr Tony that's not a full stop!! just also setting this up for all the doubters to say it was an after thought he doesn't stand by Harry at all!
