Oh FFS! Now I've got to say I agree with this cape wearing twat I find it quite funny that people are outraged at what Keys & Gray did yet the vast majority on here would make similar perverted type gesture / jokes on a daily basis
But this is an obscure internet forum where most comments are somewhat tongue in cheek, they're in the public domain but not likely to be read by many or taken seriously. Keys and Gray made their comments in the studio of a major corporate network where they knew what they said may or may not be being recorded and could, even if they were just messing around, be easily badly misconstrued by viewers who are unaware of the context and dynamic between the presenters. It seemed pretty nasty and not at all ironic from watching the clips again.
Elton Welsby, Richard Keys and Clive Tyldsley all made their name commentating on the great Liverpool teams of the late 70's and the 80's on Radio City in Liverpool, without our club they wouldn't have got their jobs on tv, but as soon as they did they morphed into the Utd loving ****s they are today. Honourable mention for Ray Stubbs who served his apprenticeship with Radio Merseyside before getting a job on the telly.
Going to be controversial here and say that I do like Clyve Tyldesley. I know he's a Man Utd fan but some of my fondest memories of football are CL games he's commentated on.. the CL final, Juventus and Chelsea 04/05 & 06/07 at home. Inter Milan, Real Madrid at home, Arsenal at home and funnily enough Chelsea away in the 4-4. Gerrard!.. Hello, hello, here we go!

He dismissed suarez's penalty claim out of hand, when i thought the replay looked like he had his heels clipped... just bugged me!
Can't think of too many who are any good. Used to like Barry Davies, never liked motson. Today's commentators,parry and Tyler are ok but that's about it for me. I liked Ron Atkinson and Trevor brooking was ok ( or is that just my age ?) but Owen ,gray and esp alan ' arsenal' smith is by far the worst.....oh and lawrenson too. Compare them to the TMS team or sky's cricket commentary team and it shows how poor they are. Bumble is king of commentators for me.
