PAFC sign another defender this time Karleigh Osborne 28 yr old central defender from Bristol City.....he spent last season on loan at.... believe it or not.....AFC Wimbledon....didn't play at Wembley.

Released from Bristol C this summer....he is 6ft 2in in height.

Bringing in yet another defender might suggest that Adams is expecting to lose Curtis Nelson very soon.

PS.....I see that Christian Walton has moved from Brighton to Luton on a seasons loan.

Do you think that Adams may know who is signing and who isn't by now? Another defender may be because we have no defence at all with the ones left not being left very long. Think perhaps we should just hang on a minute or two and see first.

Pleased with Luton getting Walton. He was crap here.

Luke McCormick signs a new contract.....I think that's ten players we've got now.

I think you are right Sensible: Hartley gone and Nelson going. What about McHugh though? Played in midfield last year but a decent CB too. What's Adams' thinking there I wonder.

Gregg Wylde signs a contract with Millwall.

Jordan Slew signs a contract after a short spell at Chesterfield.....Adams knows him from his Ross County days....6ft 3in striker.....not at the moment excited with this signing.....no real goalscoring form.

I'm ambivalent about Wylde (yes I know, I was his biggest fan at first). He has great pace but doesn't he doesn't produce the end product it should yield.

I don't think Wylde is any great loss and there was talk of him moving out of his flat on pasoti prior to this announcement. Lets be honest and say we know nothing of any of the signings we have made and we won't until pre-season at the earliest. Adams did ok with names none of knew before so I'm not about to doubt him now. I'll do my usual and wait till they kick a ball for us first.

Must admit i am a bit of a Wylde fan because he got us up the pitch quickly, but agree his final ball was often poor. DA will certainly sink or swim this season, lots of new unknown (to us) signings so it will certainly be his team. looking forward to seeing all the newbies play and will reserve judgement until then!

This Jordan Slew has averaged for the last 5 seasons.....one goal a season.....there must be someone else that Adams is after even if Reid stays.....goals are needed from somewhere,......none of the players coming in are recognized goal getters.

To lighten the post Referendum depression, I see that Jordan Slew has a (friendly) parody account on Twitter set up by Cambridge fans. It's called Jordan Slew Facts.

I liked these: Jordan Slew doesn't dial the wrong number, you answer the wrong phone and Fear of spiders is arachnophobia. Fear of closed spaces is claustrophobia. Fear of Jordan Slew is understandable.

I hope we'll feel so well disposed towards him when he's played a couple of games...

Not yet plym, not yet but give it time.

The News tonight on the beeb, local news that is, told everyone that Wylde was leaving for Millwall and that we had signed Slew. Christ they're on the ball with a quick announcement aren't they. Pasoti had both of these days ago.

Only two days to go before pre-season begins on Friday.

By then Derek Adams should know who else have accepted their new contract offers....and who else might be leaving.

At present Argyle have officially only 12 players on their books....should get hectic in the next few days

We've signed another one but I'm guessing plym won't like it......

Bulvitis who is a 6' 3" centre half from Lativia. What are Argyle like signing these foreigners and them coming over here and taking our boys jobs. Shocking.

Would seem to point to Nelson not being on the books next term doesn't it. We have an entirely new back line apart from Purrington that is. I think Nelson has been linked with just about everyone now. Mentions of Bournemouth but to be honest I can't see that one happening.
