Has a CR show ever looked so poor? Great cause, obviously, but I'd pay them not to do any of what they're promising to do tonight.

I haven't seen Comic Relief for a number of years, but it always struck me they had people on that are clearly not funny..... Claudia Winklemen, Zoe Ball, Fearne Cotton etc etc.... kind of defeats the point of the show in my opinion.

To me it's like Children in need, what it was actually set up to do has gradually been lost by the mutual backslapping, self promotion and "aren't we great, look at us" attitudes. Too much of it now is the BBC trying to be clever and having their "favourites" pushed to the front. I barely bother with it or children in need these days.

Saw a highlights programme the other night and it used to be a good night. Ali G interviewing posh and becks, Tony Ferrino and Bjork duet. It's very tame and boring now.
