Now then Mr Bellend as you believe you are quite an erudite type of chap who's tone of thread is mean't to belittle we Geordie thickies, can you explain what a local derby is?
If I'm not mistaken Carlisle v Exeter is not a derby as unbelievably they are not local.
I await you're considered response. In the meantime I'm going for a pint in my local, that's always assuming my flight's not delayed.

Bit pushed for time but have been able to ascertain that local refers to a particular region or area , when used as an adjective that is, and derby it seems is restricted to three year olds

PS In Queensland anything under 500 klms is classed as a local derby
