Its got to be 8ft by 8 yards? All goals ive played in seem to be that size but the diameter of the bar varies. Also the smallest possible pitch size is bloody small!! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Modifications (for players under 16, disabled, women and veteran footballers (over 35) only) Any or all of the following modifications are permissible: • substitutions • duration of the periods of play • width between the goalposts and height of the crossbar from the ground • size, weight and material of the ball • size of the field of play So there you are, its OK for old codgers
That would be a straight red card these days Mike... Do you mean Roger Kirkpatrick the English referee from the 1970's ? A bit roly poly and always seemed out of breath !
I do indeed mean Roger Kirkpatrick angelic and if I remember he was quite a small rotund figure. I forget who the referee was but apparently on his first assignment at Anfield when he oversaw the coin toss the Reds captain (Ron Yeats?) pointed out where the Kop End was and told the official they might eat him if he made a mistake. Or something like that. Anyone on this one?
