Well done the Met (and I don't often say that!) The FA drops the ball again, and blames the Police. I suppose the minimum wage stewards were at fault too. I know one of them. He got home at 2am on Monday morning and then he had to go out to work again just to make ends meet.
It's simply about money. Does the FA want to pay for fully trained, experienced coppers or does it want to pay 2/3rd's less for inexperienced, untrained stewards with no real incentive to get stuck in when the wheels come off.
