Personally I hope we push on and Hughton keep his job, if we stay up it will go to show keeping your faith with a manager can and will pay off.

It's certainly looking a lot healthier. I've probably posted this in a few places now, but we've got 3 winnable home games that would take us to 37 points, which is probably safety, and 8 other games (even if 4 are against top, top sides) to pick up a few points here and there.

Now you guys just need to come join us!

It the first time this season that we've taken 3 points that people didn't think we would get. They're bonus points, ones that when you look at the fixture list to work out where the best chance of getting to ~40 points you don't consider, making the rest of the games easier. It's also just good to see how much the players were delighted by the win, when you see that you get the impression that we aren't having real off field problems.

I second that, and also wanted to congratulate you on a deserved victory. Many seemed to think we wouldn't have much trouble, which I always found inexplicable. With your last game 0-0 against Man City? Inexplicable.

Anyway, good luck. I hope you stay up and Houghton keeps his job.

I´ll keep that in mind, chippy, but I wouldn´t be too sure, and oh how I´d love you to be wrong, so I could keep on reminding you of it. :emoticon-0105-wink: - Enjoy your evening!

I watched the match at the White Elephant with some random Spurs lads (resplendent in their fake Stone Island gear<laugh>)

They'd pretty much given it up after the goal, much more and I'd have been asking for Prozac at the bar! The only thing that surprised me was how you never got a second goal.

Wow well MotD was entirely focused on Norwich analysis. Nearly 20 mins!

Thought they made some good points - especially about our midfield communication. And the RvW debate was inevitable, though I'm surprised that they didn't mention his industry today and the fact that the crowd gave him a good send off in appreciation - so confidence and goals he might be lacking, but he was given a bit of appreciation by the crowd

Personally I thought Danny Mills was talking a load of bollocks. Thought we played well, didn't deserve that slaughtering from the ''pundits''.

Yeah, it was a bit strange to go through that. The only thing is there is a media mafia that likes to really support Hughton and the slaughtering was an attempt to show that McNally's comments damaged Norwich morale. It was a bit of an unsubtle agenda actually. Personally, I thought the analysis was interesting - and the midfield communication was key there. Quite flattering that they criticise our team when we just beat a top four contender!

But they were trying to shoehorn the argument which didn't really hold water. To my mind, McNally's comments were spot on for what the supporters needed to hear, and the players and manager reacted perfectly.

Yes, we took advantage of an out of sorts Spurs and yes we hardly played the perfect game and we still have shaky moments at the back and terrible moments up front, but overall we are massively improved and starting to look like the team fans know we can be

Unless I misheard him, he seemed to argue that we were still in trouble, but Swansea and Villa would be safe because of the points they'd got on the board. Aren't we all on 28 points? <doh>
