That was very much QPR. Knowing QPR the tea lady is probably 100 years old and on 30k a week.

We are there for the marathon (I hope! ), can I just say that the swans are debt free, we made £15m on the last financial year. Are cash rich and are expanding our stadium shortly. And now have an academy since becoming cash rich.

So I'm not undermining your club, but there is no tide to change as we are in the same situation as yourselves. The difference is that we've won our first bit of major silverware in our history this season. But who's to say that you can't win a cup next ?

It's a council run stadium that works for us, we don't have any of the upkeep and worries, though we are expanding it at our expense. The point is that you suggest that only your club is well run, only your club is cash rich, only your club is debt free. I just want to point out that our club is in a very similar position as yours.

We will be cash rich due to no debt+tv money. You have the added bonus of your hyped players. Michu is gone in the summer and when he does you are guna get 1 metric ****-ton of cash for him. 6.5m for Sinclair and 15m(still can't believe it) for Allen plus the Rodgers payout has given you a huge edge.

Hyped players ? We are cash rich because of wise investments and not allowing teams to screw us over. Bank of Liverpool were very generous to us. We have no debts, no need to sell players unless its on our terms, and are making profits.

I can't predict the future as my crystal ball doesn't work, if michu leaves so be it, but I don't think he will in the summer. But again it will be on our terms.

I think Beefy was referring to the way (especially last season) Swansea received a lot more media-attention than we did, despite similar finishing positions. Seeing as we'd both come up using players who'd served us well from the lower leagues, you'd expect us to have similar quality squads. However we never (to our knowledge) received big money bids for any of our players, whilst you did, and profited greatly as a result. I'm not saying whether it's a bad or good thing, you simply had more money to spend than we did in the summer.

Who really cares about media attention ? I Don't ! It's hardly our fault that we had bids for players, we didn't want them to leave but they did and IMO we replaced them with better players.

Yes we've been lucky with transfers, but I like to think that it's more our canny way of doing business. Our chairman will not allow us to be screwed over because he's a swans fan first.
