Yep the sainted Michu "honestly I've signed a contract and I'm happy at Swansea theres no way I'm going to get sold in the summer for a ****-ton" scores and kills it.
Hardly, negative, Swansea are just showing their quality but wouldn't have been able to score that second goal as easily against a Premier League team.
That was English but I'll translate it into Norfolk for you The media love Swansea with all their pretty possession football. Since this is a really one sided cup final allowing them show off their passing skills the media will probably be comparing them with Barcelona later.
Yup, Swansea having a Sunday afternoon stroll, as you said, poor for the neutral to watch so I might just go off to bed and give the 2nd half a miss. Bradford are huffing and puffing and chasing shadows with Swansea having 78% possession so far Perhaps not unexpected, still disappointing as spectacles go but full credit to the Swans, just going about their business as they should
Basically, Swansea are a very fashionable club. For whatever reason all the pundits like them. Is it the brand of football? Maybe. Is it the "1st Welsh team in the prem" thing. Possibly. I was in the car listening to a commentary one night and the commentator seriously sounded like he was having an orgasm describing their away kit. It was cringeworthy. Swansea can feel they have achieved the most from the 3 promoted teams (QPR, us and them) however, it is a marathon. Not a sprint. We will be debt free, with our own stadium, cash rich with a top academy come the summer. The tide is changing.
It could've so easily have been us there instead of Bradford. Still look back on it as a golden opportunity wasted.....
I just thought the same thing - but we wouldn't have yesterday's three precious points in the bag, if so. I'll take the points any day
Did I read that right? You'd take 3 PL points (which could have still been won at a later date) than a day out and major cup final at Wembley?
