I glad it’s as black & white as that for you. Whilst I agree, I understand others may not for very good reasons

I was quietly contemplating the Cheltenham races today and then Jiffie posts the above.
Not many things makes my blood boil more than the 'whitewash' (am I allowed to say whitewash ?) of Asian gangs grooming and abusing young girls.
The Police are scared stiff to do anything for fear of the Woke backlash.
They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Exactly as breaking up a recent 'vigil'.
As previous comment, my friends were there and have spoken to her at length since. They started to leave the common around 6.45 to get a taxi which arrived about 30 mins later, one or 2 rowdies turned up and started to be mouthy and appeared to be stirring things up. They were there since 3pm and everything was quiet, friendly and respectful on both sides. when they left in taxi there was about 300 or more people there and quite a few in the streets heading that way. Short noses or long, good eye sight or poor until 645pm everything was OK the rabble that arrived later was the problem.es it does to those who only want to see what's in front of them!
This again is an issue with the media/social media, in that we only only ever see the end result. We do not see what what may have have occurred beforehand, what attempts the Police may or may not have made to get those on the vigil/illegal gathering to disperse peacefully and, unfortunately, people seem unwilling to look beyond the end of their noses!
Looks like I spoke to soon, as a young runner? walker was accosted by a male this past week. It was on one of the more open and busiest parts of the downs, such a brazen assault. I have an alarm and a spray! one in each hand.Do you know what? I agree with every single word of this, I am sorry that you have problems whilst just out for a run, the Downs has been a magnet for perverts since I was a kid back in the 50's/60's.

Yes it was the problem, but not the problem as reported by the media or by the twitteratzi, who within minutes of the homemade videos being posted had already made a judgement.

Few hundred metres away was the BRI a symbol of what is good. Here people fight to save peoples lives. Here people fight to save peoples lives in the time of a pandemic.
At the foot of the hill were the scum.
Peaceful protests are essential in a democracy, obviously the idiots that attacked the police etc need to be dealt with in an appropriate fashionIt was a protest to protest. Think they’ve ****ed up any chances of having protest again.
