What do you do to make the spices stick, dip the chicken in egg or yoghurt or ? I've got an air fryer and fancy having a go at making crispy fried chicken.
Best result if you put the seasoning in a plastic bag dip the chicken in egg and shake each piece about coating it . In my experience fried chicken tastes better in a big wok as it comes into contact with the Base and crisps up better than in a basket deep fryer.
Stopmeandslapme is trying the seasoning that is complete. You add flour and you **** it up you thick paddy ****.
He was going to try this and if you start adding flour then you will ruin it. It contains flour already.
Why didn't you say that ffs. Egg wash/bottle of pre made rub If ya ever get a dry ring...rub some of that stuff around the sore area. Better than sudocream.
No mate, I've got all the spices, some in bulk, for my curry experiments so I'm going to recreate the carribean one and also the colonel's secret recipe or as near as dammit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KFC_Original_Recipe The Joe Ledington recipe reads as follows: Spices – Mix With 2 Cups White Fl. 2/3 Ts Salt 1/2 Ts Thyme 1/2 Ts Basil 1/3 Ts Oregano 1 Ts Celery salt 1 Ts Black Pepper 1 Ts Dried Mustard 4 Ts Paprika 2 Ts Garlic salt 1 Ts Ground Ginger 3 Ts White Pepper Tablespoons. http://www.texspice.co.uk/pdetail.php?pid=71&cid=1 Wheatflour, Salt, Flavour Enhancers E621, Black Pepper, Sage, Celery Seed, White Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder, Nutmeg, Onion Powder, Rusk, Raising Agents E431, 500.
