Colo out for up to 7 weeks with broken back.

Have to say when he went off and walked half way round the ground applauding the fans it seemed odd. Usually if your injured you go straight off and down the tunnel for treatment not walk the opposite way to the tunnel and then around the pitch.

Like Freddd has said I don't doubt for one second there are problems in his personal life or that his back was broken, but could he have known he had done some serious damage to his back and would probably not play again this season?

 

Could he have know when ? While he was still on the pitch ?

No. He would have known his back was hurting. His doctor's didn't know he had a fracture till the Xrays came back.

As to why go to Argentina, it's because for the first few weeks the only treatment is rest, he can rest in Argentina as well as anywhere else and he has been desparate since January to do something or other in Argentina.

Could he have gone with no intention of coming back ?

That is possible. He could find a friendly medico to certify a setback of a few weeks. Some players would. I personally think Colo is better than that, but we'll have to see.

 

Just reading that the new pope is a San Lorenzo fan, they say God works in mysterious ways.......maybe that accounts for Colo's unusual injury!
