Im almost speechless..thought he was gone. Loving all the transfer activity but the fact we have our captain till the summer as well makes me just as happy, if not more. Just hope its not detriment to the team and that colos ok, no black cloud above him or whatever. If its agreed he will stay though then im sure there wont be, as we know he has a professional attitude.

Think the Coloccini saga has made me bipolar. Yesterday I was suicidal, tonight I'm ecstatic and about to celebrate with a mountain of Caramello icecream!!

 

Depends what team Pardew picks!! I bet we don't see the team we want to see. He'll wait until Chelsea to ensure if we lose the bubble is burst fast.

I bet he'll play his ****ty long ball system and we see more of Williamson, Perch snd Ameobi at Villa and lose.


Really hope I'm wrong we shouldn't delay them starting we can't afford to.

 

Another piece of good news this week. Hope to see him and Mwiba form a great partnership for the rest of the season with Saylor as back up.
Lets just hope now that Pardew lets them loose from day one and not mess around as we need 3 points off Villa.

Update: Alan Pardew revealed at his Friday press conference that Fabricio Coloccini is to remain at the club for the rest of this season and retain the captain's armband. The situation will then be reassessed, with the defender under contract at United until 2016.

Pardew said that:

"Coloccini is going to stay with us and will remain as captain which is fantastic news for us. We have managed to persuade him that, as much as his family, we need him.

"He has shown fantastic loyalty to continue playing and see us through to the summer at the very least. It's a situation me and Colo have been on a personal journey, to make sure he understands he has a big responsibility here to fans and to families of this club.

"This club has been relegated once before and people lost their jobs here. We need our captain in and around us and I'm pleased to say he has agreed to accept that."

 

It has been a very good week indeed. Let's hope next week is even better!

Beating Villa would be a good start - and no last minute sales of key players please Mike!
