Dai - saw that on the HITC site earlier. Don't know who we'd to leave out of midfield for him unless someone like Gunnar is actually going - God forbid!

Incidentally Dai - that insidewalessport site has been intercepted by my online security software for a while now as being suspicious for virus and phishing infection - watch it mate. <ok>

Cheers Sparks.

No probs Dai - I used to visit it quite a lot when it was "insidecardiffcity" before the recent name change without any problems. It's only this past fortnight or so the warnings have flashed up.

It maybe my security software is a bit over-sensitive but I have to trust it and I get out of there when it tells me. <ok>

Watson is a different type of player. More box to box with a goal threat. His age is a bit against him.

With O'Keefe likely to go he would give us another different option.

Gunnar in last year of contract. I have seen nothing to say he has signed a new one.

Listening to NW on Bennett, if Fulham hit the transfer release clause, it's up to the player.

Leaves us short of left backs; Jazz is good but not left sided.

The real buzz point though is BHA's interest in Zahore. If there's a release clause, I can't imagine it being that high so we may be stuffed if he fancies playing for a likely relegation team and be back in the championship next season.

City would be knackered within him; how could he be replaced. Granted he's missed a few but his presence is vital in the way Hoilett & ML perform.

Yes - Hughton was in the stands last night watching Zohore so there's some serious intent behind their interest.

The crucial thing will be the buyout clase if there is one. Though I've not seen the existence of one mentioned, I bet there is.

Down to the player then if the offer is made - a bit like Bennett at the moment.

.
Would be a real blow if Zahore left. Maybe NW could persuade him to stay here as it would be better for his long term career rather than play in a team that surely will struggle week in week out, and not go to BHA where don't forget Trollop is. He was useless when under Trollop.

Good points Nin. <ok> Hopefully Colin will tactfully use your logic with Zohore.

Looks like it will depend on Bennett to Fulham if he goes we might go back with a bigger bid.

Edit

Anyone know how long Paterson will be out for?

Paterson is doing OK. Both him and Healey are ahead of schedule and should be in full training before September is out. Match fitness is another thing though.

From what I've read, Paterson should be there before Healey - probably available mid October if not before.
