New summer, new window.

Let's get a fresh thread going for this one.

Can a moderator make this a sticky and possibly move some of the comments that relate to the new window from the old one?

Im sure Colin's ' swiss army knife' will step up if gunner moves on.

I'd be loathe to let him go, but I'll repeat, every one has his price. I'm sure Colin will do the right thing.

If the £ is in the right ball park I'd let him go.

Despite Gunner having one of his best seasons, we aren't realistically going to get anymore for him in terms of value in the future. Perhaps we shouldn't make the same mistake we have with Noone where I'd bite Norwich's hand off for 2 million now.

As for Colin's Swiss Army Knife...<laugh>

Is it a key position to strengthen? With Bamba, Morrison, Connelly and Peltier all capable in the centre of defence (as well as Greg the knife) should we be looking at other positions first? Or is Colin's lauding of one or two of those psychology!!

Looks like they've just seen the list of the new signings................................

I would be very surprised if Gunnar made this move or if Warnock allowed it.
He is a vital lynchpin to the team. Difficult to replace. He was outstanding last season.

But like others here have said every player has a price. If NW has to let him go, we can only hope he'd use the money to get someone equally good or even better.

Blakey wants us to sign old players Campbell, Marshall & Ledley back up, he'll be looking for a contract next. <doh><doh>
