I think you can add Peltier to the potential CB list as well - I can't see him getting much pitch time with Paterson back.

I'd much prefer him in the middle than on the left - hurry back Bennett!

Perhaps Connolly wants to move on due to lack of game time? He has done it before when loaned to Watford - and got promoted - again!!!!

Does that mean Colin is planning to be with us neaxt year whatever happens come May?

He's said recently that he doesn't really want to manage in the Prem - I bet he does really and hopefully with us!

    Director of football?
Perhaps he's just a generally good egg and has the best interest of the club at heart.
Or he wants to leave a legacy.

Hope he is with us in some capacity as he brings footballing nous to the club. Something that Tan, dalman and Choo don' t have. The fact tan seems to trust his judgement is very beneficial and would support the club long term.

    What's going on?????

At least with a y and double l in his name he sort of sounds Welsh.

Is this a bit of wage trimming? Will we see the likes of Connolly departing in January?

Is it April 1st with a name like that?

Already suggested that about Connolly Remote and any buyer could have "the knife" as a bogof.

Much prefer City looking to the football league to get back up rather than players from foreign leagues

WoL "Cardiff City have snapped up free agent defender Rolf Feltscher on a short term contract.
The Venezuelan international, who was reportedly being tracked by Los Angeles Galaxy, joins the Bluebirds as defensive cover.
He has signed a deal until January 13 and will join up with the Cardiff squad straight away — as he does not need a work permit — following a successful trial period."

Apparently he slipped through the back door... :D

Hope he puts himself about a bit and shows he has spunk. <yikes>

    I'll get me coat.

Odd signing though, just for 2 months initially.

Could there be a big bucks bid for one of our top 3 centre backs in the pipeline ?

All 3 have had good reviews and there will be a few of the bottom dozen in the prem looking for defenders big time.

Calculated risk probably. No fee to pay and would probably settle for low wages being as he had no income coming in and a chance to prove himself.

If he comes good, then he could be an asset and worth a few bob on the market if offered a contract. Could be shrewd move - it wouldn't be the first time for Warnock.

Saw some of the Everton game tonight . Guy came off the bench for the opposition looked quite useful. Got a couple goals. Might be worth a look for competition for Ken and bogle.
Andrew, andie, andromeda? Something like that. Second name began with a C.
Might be ok if we could get him for a couple hundred thousand.

Full fitness check needed first. Also must know who would get any commission out of the deal. <yikes> <whistle>

Think we're OK for strikers. Obviously Ken & Bogle as mentioned above. Also Ward an able back up & even Fred has looked pretty sharp in his cameos over the last couple of games.

If we do go in for a striker then it needs to be a proven goalscorer at this level...possibly a smaller no. 10 type player. Don't t think we need to take a punt on another squad player.

I think we've got what we need up front for this division if we can keep them all fit. Cant see big money being provided for anything better.

Getting Healey back over Christmas/New year will add another potential match winning option for Warnock to throw into the mix.

    BfB obviously twigged.

Cornelius came off the bench for Atalanta and scored two well taken goals showing strength and technique. Evidently we should have kept him as one for the future which he' s now got to.
Saying that, it was Everton defending. Williams had a 'mare.
