Latest I read tonight is Madine is signing and Grabban is training on his own so make of that what you can Just over 24 hours to go. Ps results went ok tonight apart from a late Villa winner. They’re looking good for top 2.
I think we all have to expect Madine signing. It sounds like Grabban has shot himself in the foot with his high demands. Another spoiled brat looking for a payday from the sounds of things. Whoever signs, I'll back. We just need to get someone scoring goals ASAP!
Cardiff City are set to spend £6million to land Bolton Wanderers striker Gary Madine ahead of today's deadline. Madine has scored ten times for the Trotters this season and Wanderers chairman Ken Anderson has previously said that only an 'exceptional' offer would see him leaving the club. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/leeds-united-transfer-news-roberts-1142589 _____________________________________________________________________________________ £6M!!!! £6M!!!! AM I READING THAT RIGHT? IS THIS A JOKE???
The Wurzel Post has to having a laugh? They are known for inflating the prices we pay for players but 6 (six) million!?!?
I read it on The Bolton Post too mate. Their chairman has set a £6m valuation for Madine which apparently has been matched. If so, that is absolutely crazy money. His overall goal-scoring record doesn't fill me with joy. I'd much rather stick with big Ken.
If that’s correct that is madness. City need a quick fix and for that money they could surely pay for Grabban. Another thing, why is it being left so late? If City had 6m to spend, surely they could have got more than one decent player for that outlay in early January
If it's a straight 6m fee then that's a lot. But if it includes add ons including promotion the fee could maybe be half that amount. Still we'll know by 11 tonight.
Oh Jaysus Christ - it’s on the ****ing BBC! The biggest outlay on a player since Cornelius Six ****ing million on Gary ****ing Madine
It's a joke. £2m less than what Jordan Rhodes cost Wednesday when he was scoring for fun! Gary Madine for £6m is not good business. In Warnock we trust and all that, but this is ridiculous. 10 goals in the championship is good to be fair, but SIX MILLION. It's barmy.
http://www.insidewalessport.co.uk/c...of-bournemouth-striker-lewis-grabban-reports/ Apparantly we are still in for Grabban. Perhaps Warnock is looking to bring in the both of them? Wtf is going on here guys?
sky reckon Grabban needs to decide between us and Villa. They reckon the Madine deal is 2.5m plus add ons which could end up at 6m if we win promotion et al.
Could be Bogle's going the other way: Bogle to Bolton? Now, this is very interesting. Gary Madine’s move to Cardiff City appears to be edging closer, but could Omar Bogle be heading the other way? Bogle has already been linked with a loan move away in this window. Worth keeping an eye on... please log in to view this image Tom Barclay ✔@TomBarclay_ Understand there is a chance Omar Bogle could go the other way if Gary Madine signs for Cardiff from Bolton, but all quite difficult 12:06 PM - Jan 31, 2018 55 Replies 2323 Retweets 1616 likes
According to Wikki: Madine's move to Cardiff is Wikipedia official Perhaps jumping the gun a little bit, but it certainly looks likely please log in to view this image
A Bogle loan move seems like a good idea to me, still only 24 and has a lot to gain from a loan move.
