    They still think 2 - 3 - 5 is a modern formation.

Canary City Powerhouses are rockadoodly doodling for the signature of Liverpool United's 21 year old star soccerballer. How will they cope without him?

Rumours circulating around Peterborough that a swap deal is on the cards - Tomlin back to them and Marcus Maddison coming to us.

Only rumours but Tomlin is an old Peterborough favourite and looks like he ain't going to get a look in with us. Maddison would be good left side wide man for us.

Sounds ok to me. Looks as if Tomlin is a slight blot on colins copy book. Will give him that one.
I've been banging on about cover on the left for a while and tomlin doesn't seem to have settled in our current set up.
Hope there is truth in it.

Don’t think much of a swap. Keep Tomlin and buy/loan a striker. Heard a 4m off bid tabled by City for Grabban.

No point keeping Tomlin if he's not going to play him. Leaving him on the bench as an unused sub won't benefit the team.

If he couldn't get regular starts whilst we've been so short of players through this injury crisis this past 2 months then he'll never step up. It suggests it was a mistake by Warnock to sign him.

Marcus Maddison would fill the left side wide man berth no problem - we're short of options there. The right footed Hoilett has had to step into the slot, and although he's done extremely well, it's not his natural position and what if he got crocked - who else would you put there?

I'd take a proven frontman like Grabban as well, but Tomlin so far looks like the mistake of the season for Warnock.

    From this morning's press conference........

"Warnock revealed that Lee Tomlin is unavailable for the game against Jos Luhukay's side having suffered a knee injury in training"

At least there'll be a seat on the bench for someone else to sit the game out.

Spoke to a mate of mine who is a rams fan and he mentioned Martin was lazy, lacks commitment and disappears during the 90 minutes. Not the type of player NW would tolerate. Apparently a large number of the ram’s fans want shot of him PDQ.

Grabban it is then. Although he is known to Bournemouth fans as Lewis Money Grabber.

So Martin is lazy and Grabban is grabby - fair enough, perhaps we need someone with something to prove rather than a passenger or money orientated.

Why don't we go back to Klopp and try to get Danny Ings on board?

He's had a rough time this past couple of seasons with injury but he was prolific for Burnley. He's still only mid twenties and I bet he'd like a chance like Grujic to have a go at first team football even if it was another loan deal.

Apparently City are bookies favourites for Grabban & McGoldrick.

Aside from that what was the point of extending Feeney’s loan?

Warnock likes him and Mowbray doesn't want him - apart from that, nothing.

Definitely a more positive move if correct although if other Championship clubs are after him, e.g. Villa and Leeds, it could turn into an expensive auction. Hope Whitts can put in a good word.

Dai, agreed on your views on Grabban and McGoldrick. The latter seems to spend a lot of time out injured as well.
