Absolutely. It's all about polemic. Anyone who believes most of the ****ers on there are actually spouting their own opinions is deluded and/or stupido, same for most journos in the rags anyway, in the better newspapers the columnists might actually be engaged with their own brains, ideas and opinions. On the two presenter shows one takes one stand-point and doesn't budge and the other takes the opposite. It's a total wind-up and how they generate revenue as you point out, through calls and texts, adverts as well as course, more adverts than 'talk' or 'sport' on there tbh

Absolutely.

Often you find guys who do bits and pieces type links pronoted to the main presenter role and they try and continue the straight man reading their bit routine and they all fail.

To be the main guy on radio you have to stimulate the audience to react.. for good or bad to ring in or call in

I do however find that when you are seriously off peak like 10 or 11pm theres only two types of radio. Those who seek drunken monkeys to call in and then abuse or those who act like noboduvis listening and use twitter to talk music and stuff.

Brings into question Phil Thompson and Carra working for Sky Sports, either they all should walk or should stay?

The issue is mainly down to McKenzie and the paper(bog roll)he used to peddle the lies on behalf of the police and government of the day, its like if we watch games on Sky are we defeating the issue?
