YOU HAVE TO ADMIRE THE MAN has done extremely well with Wales and leaves the job, one would have to say amongst the top twigs of the tree.
along with the managers of the "2" Irelands done very very well in getting to where they did. Scotland missing out leaves England as the only representative from the UK. arguably with a manager with little more expierince than LEE, Middsbro, 3 years, and a period with under 23's , 3 years .... (LEE, about 4 a half years)
sunderland, potentially a massive club will need to do something spectacular to get to top 6 but not impossible, Coleman will have the benefit of some £100 mill of parachute payment to play with

    He will fail there unfortunately.
Coleman’s strength was continuing Gary Speeds work of creating a all for one attitude from the unders to full team. As the saying over here is “we’re there together, together stronger” which took a while. (And a certain Gareth Bale)
He won’t be given the luxury of time with that basket case of team.

very seldom do successful national managers make it back and be successful in the short term.
the wider picture of course is for the next 12 months or so eliminated teams will be "just getting game time with friendlies" and it might be a prospect he cant look forward to?

Wales are a 1 man team, he knows, I know it and so do most people. Wales had a purple patch last year and didn't build on it, they will almost certainly slide back down the international rankings so Coleman may as well go out on a high.

Altough taking on Sunderland right now is a ball$ey call as they are very poor.
