Ultras.... To clarify this story, the original fleg removal took place from an Ajax fan in the Brazen Heid. Subsequent liberations of flegs are conjecture.

Just out of interest what was the justification for the fine for the man city banner? That looked like a decent, clever protest and can't see how it could be deemed to be offensive. It will be very interesting to see what differentiation in the level of fines UEFA see fit to make. My guess will be they'll make the same level of fine and claim that political statements are banned - which will be an absolute joke of a judgement in my opinion.
Whoops. UEFA will say i have to watch the next televised match on my own in the house rather than be allowed to watch it in the pub
What army ? There are and has always been enough ****s in the British Army . Young people may be ok until they join but the army soon knocks the decency out of them . I am sorry Stereo, but it is time to wake up.
Looks like an Arab to me Dan. Imagine it was a caricature of a Black Guy or a Jew? I know what you mean and I understand the point they were making but their choice of iconography was stupid at best and racist at worst.
[h=2]Manager: Celtic fans are a credit to the club[/h] By: Mark Henderson on 08 Nov, 2013 14:58 NEIL Lennon has praised the conduct of Celtic´s travelling support following the off-field events in Amsterdam on Wednesday. The club is currently investigating what happened in Holland, and the manager spoke on the subject when addressing the media today. "I´m disappointed but not surprised if you look at what happened here at Celtic Park, with the Ajax fans, ripping up seats and throwing them at our supporters," said the Irishman. "If there are Celtic fans who have been out of order and they are season ticket holders, then the club will take appropriate action, obviously. "But I think there is a culture at Ajax. I think the Man United and Man City fans have had problems over the years, so I don´t think it´s exclusive to Celtic. "I´m not going to point the finger at them as don´t know what the facts are. But our fans are exemplary. I have been here 13 years and everywhere they go, they have been an absolute credit to the club. "Again, I don´t know the facts in front of me, but if there was a reaction, there was immense provocation in the first place."
7/11/2103 Last night a group of Celtic fans were attacked by Ajax supporters at the Old Sailor Cafe in Amsterdam’s red light district. Police have confirmed that nine Ajax fans were arrested in connection with the incident, in which some reports allege that the Dutch fans were wielding pick axe handles, shotguns and there were even reports of gun shots being fired with one photo doing the rounds on twitter showing bullet sized holes in the windows of the Dutch pub. A Police spokesperson said: “A group of Ajax supporters went into a pub with Celtic supporters. After a short and quick attack, the Ajax fans left. Nine of them were arrested and are still in police custody. Today we will do anything to keep the groups separated.” Thankfully no one was injured in the incident, but Amsterdam Police escorted Celtic fans from the surrounding after the attack for their own safety. Celtic had posted a statement on its website warning away fans to be ‘vigilant’. It read: “Celtic Football Club is urging all supporters in Amsterdam for tonight’s UEFA Champions League tie with Ajax to be extra vigilant following an unprovoked attack on Celtic fans last night. The attack in the city centre by an element of the Ajax support resulted in a number of arrests. “Celtic are urging all supporters to be extra vigilant in the city centre and at the Amsterdam Arena, and to only stick to the advised areas for safety reasons.” Meanwhile Reuters is reporting that eight police officers have been treated in hospital after violent clashes earlier today, with around 15 Celtic fans arrested for their part in the disorder. A spokesman for Amsterdam police said a large crowd of Celtic supporters turned on a group of plainclothes police officers in Dam Square, at around 5pm. “The officers took quite a beating,” said spokesman Rob van der Veen. “One of the officers was unconscious, another had his nose broken.” Dutch media have reported that fans attacked the police by throwing bottles and sticks. The first game between the two sides, in which Celtic won 2-1 at Parkhead, saw disorder in the Ajax end as they ripped up seats and throwing them at home supporters and stewards, as they tried to breach the ranks of stewards and police in attendance. Police Scotland surprisingly did not make any arrests at the game, but said it was reviewing CCTV footage to identify those Ajax fans involved in the disorder and will work with their Dutch colleagues on the matter. 08/11/2013 UEFA will hold a hearing later this month over the Ajax fan disorder and could hammer the Amsterdam club again after their fans unfurled a banner at Wednesday night’s match which read: ‘Fenian b******s’. In the lead up to Wednesday night’s game, there were some allegations flying about that some regular supporters who travelled to away games pulled out due to certain elements of Celtic fans who were tagging along in a bid to even the score for the damage caused during the game at Parkhead. Tonight’s violence from Celtic supporters aimed at Police officers must be investigated by the Glasgow club and those involved must be banned from games for life. UEFA will not take action against the clubs for hooliganism that takes place away from the stadium, but it is time that the club comes down hard on unsavoury elements – however minor they are – within the support. Otherwise such scenes could become a regular occurrence, something that the decent fans out there do not want to see.
Apparently UEFA's hands are tied, they cannot punish Celtic for events away from the stadium eric. They can punish Ajax for the fans (I use that term loosely) at Parkhead where Police Scotland made no arrests inside the ground.
